Hey, we’re Beau and Jake, living in sunny old Wishaw, Scotland. We’re both full time Tattoo artists as well as running our own clothing and custom Tsurikawa brand ‘OzokuCrew’.
We both have a huge passion for Nissans, rocking the 5 between the pair of us. We’re are a big fan of all car scenes, but mostly Japanese cars and car culture.
I (Jake) have been drifting for roughly 5 years now, having developed a passion for all things drift related as a teenager, whilst pouring countless hours into playing Forza on Xbox. It was a long wait until I could afford my first drift car, which was a Nissan 200sx s13. Since then I spent a lot of time drifting in my old Toyota JZX100, before stepping back into an S chassis, in that of a Nissan S14 Silvia. The car tries to balance form and function, and despite being insanely low, is super capable! It’s still running an Sr20 and with its current setup, is pushing around 350bhp, more than enough to get down.
Beau has more recently, being in the last 3 years, successfully been corrupted into becoming a full blown car enthusiast, and in no time at all transformed her own Nissan S13 into one of the most Noticeable in the UK car scene. Nicknamed ‘Lola’, it is pretty much pink everything, from headlining to seats, to roll cage and new fluffy pink dash. Not to mention one off rear LED heart lights and exhaust. We’re trying to create a Car that fully embodies the Japanese mentality. Its not ‘Why’, it’s ‘Why not?’
Whilst ‘Lola’ will probably never see a track, we’re currently also building another S13 for Beau to learn to drift in.
To have Matthew approach us and offer us a sponsorship deal, we couldn’t have been happier, having known him since the JZX days, we’re proud of what he’s achieved, and to now be part of Modstop! We look forward to working closely with them and helping take our cars to the next step.
